Job summary

Project Resources Group, Inc. seeks a route-based Construction Coordinator to be the eyes and ears on fiber networks. You will monitor 811 tickets, manage a daily route, and respond to outages while keeping issues from escalating. Outdoor field work and driving are essential to succeed.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid and current driver's license and a reliable personal vehicle.
• Comfort working independently in the field with minimal supervision.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and to walk long distances outdoors in all weather.

Responsibilities

• Receive daily assignments and plan route.
• Drive assigned fiber route with significant windshield time.
• Monitor existing fiber routes and identify risks to the line.
• Review 811 locate tickets, maps and prints to anticipate digging activity.
• Provide first-level support for minor issues and mitigate failures.
• Log changes and report on field conditions to ensure quality of work.
• Communicate clearly with colleagues, customers, contractors and homeowners.
