Job summary

Project Resources Group, Inc. is seeking an outside plant expert to join our team as a route-based Construction Coordinator. You’ll be the eyes and ears on the ground for our fiber networks, driving an assigned route and monitoring for issues that could impact service.

In this field role, you’ll reference 811 locate tickets and maps, coordinate with customers and contractors, and verify work quality under our SOW. A valid driver’s license and the ability to lift 50 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid driver's license, reliable personal vehicle, and auto insurance.
• Dependability — you show up on time, every time.
• Comfort working independently in the field with minimal supervision.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in all weather.
• Proficient with Microsoft tools for reporting and communication.
• Solid understanding of fiber engineering fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Plan and drive an assigned fiber route daily with substantial windshield time.
• Visit and monitor existing fiber routes for risks to the line.
• Reference 811 locate tickets, maps, and prints to stay ahead of digging/construction activity.
• Log and escalate changes in infrastructure along the route.
• Verify the quality, accuracy, and adherence to the SOW in the field.
• Communicate clearly with colleagues, customers, contractors, and homeowners.
