Job summary

Amgen seeks a strategic leader for Field Effectiveness to optimize field experience and drive sales performance across a major business unit. The role partners with Field Operations, Field Reporting and Capabilities Transformation to enable insights, excellence, and efficiency.

The Associate Director will collaborate with US Analytics and global teams, developing metrics, dashboards, and programs that connect sales strategy to execution while mentoring a diverse team.

Qualifications

• Doctorate, Masters, Bachelors, Associates, or High school with extensive life sciences field experience.
• Experience in sales analytics or field effectiveness within pharma/biotech.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence senior sales leadership.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with Field Excellence capabilities and ensure alignment across field initiatives.
• Advise sales leadership to connect strategy and execution across field improvement efforts.
• Lead or co-lead strategic initiatives (e.g. team size, launch readiness, pilots).
• Develop and execute field effectiveness strategy with focus on your portfolio.
• Collaborate with analytics to build field metrics and dashboards; monitor trends.
• Mentor and develop a high-performing team with clear performance metrics.
