Job summary

Amgen in Deerfield is seeking an Associate Director of Field Effectiveness to drive field success for its Rare Disease/US Field Excellence portfolio. This on-site role supports the sales organization by optimizing field experience, analytics, and governance across multiple initiatives.

You will lead a diverse team, mentor managers, and partner with US Analytics and global teams to deliver insights, dashboards, and performance improvements while working in a flexible model where possible.

Qualifications

• Doctorate required with 3+ years in sales analytics or life sciences management consulting or pharma sales.
• Master’s required with 5+ years in sales analytics or life sciences management consulting or pharma sales.
• Bachelor’s required with 7+ years in sales analytics or life sciences management consulting or pharma sales.

Responsibilities

• Liaise for Field Excellence capabilities and align field initiatives.
• Advise sales leadership to connect strategy with field execution across initiatives.
• Lead strategic initiatives and projects to improve field effectiveness and efficiency.
• Develop field effectiveness strategy and programs with focus on the business unit.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop field metrics and dashboards.
