Job summary

Lucid Motors is seeking a Mobile Service Technician to perform field service repairs by traveling to client locations with a provided service van. The role requires diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing Lucid vehicles in the field, with opportunities to work independently and with the service location team.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of automotive technician experience, HV/LV knowledge, and ASE/EPA certifications.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience as an automotive service technician.
• Self-sufficient, highly organized and comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of High Voltage systems, Low Voltage systems, and Electric Vehicle powertrain.
• Customer facing experience with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office as well as learn proprietary DMS software.
• EPA 609 Certification.
• Willingness to complete Lucid provided CPR training post hire.
• Valid driver’s license with no suspensions within the past year; 21+ requires 3 years license and Lucid training on hire.

Responsibilities

• Function as a Service Advisor and perform parts department duties including ordering, returns, and inventory management
• Work directly with clients to provide a high level of customer experience
• Document all customer vehicle interactions using the appropriate software suite
• Maintain deep knowledge of HV, LV, and EV systems
• Conduct walk-around and write-up to identify the primary customer concern
• Document customer concerns for diagnosis and repair
• Follow repair order documentation procedures (The Three C’s)
• Invoice and collect payment
• Perform customer service tasks like scheduling and updates after repairs
• Plan travel time and visit duration for mobile services
• Provide support at Service Center as needed
• Travel within assigned territory and to other locations
• Other duties as assigned
