Job summary

Haley & Aldrich Inc. seeks a Staff Environmental Engineer or Geologist 2 for field and office work across multiple sites in PA/NJ. The role involves subsurface exploration, sampling, and data analysis with potential extended field assignments.

Travel across the United States is expected along with adherence to safety plans and quality standards. The position requires a relevant degree and up to 5 years of experience; EIT/FE/FG/PG certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Environmental Engineering, Geology, or related field; M.S. welcomed.
• 0–5 years in professional services; Phase I/Phase II environmental assessments.
• Willing to travel across the U.S.; valid driver’s license; reliable transportation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; OSHA 40-hr. HAZWOPER preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform site reconnaissance to observe existing conditions.
• Monitor subsurface exploration activities and collect soil/groundwater data.
• Conduct soil and groundwater sampling per ASTM standards and procedures.
• Prepare reports, proposals, cost estimates, and Phase I/Phase II ESAs.
• Adhere to Site Specific Health and Safety Plans and participate in safety briefings.
