Job summary

Haley & Aldrich is seeking a Staff Environmental Engineer or Geologist 2 to conduct site characterization for environmental and geotechnical projects, with field work and travel across the United States. The role includes supporting Phase I/Phase II ESAs and coordinating with senior staff in Holicong, PA; Cherry Hill, NJ; Princeton, NJ or Parsippany, NJ offices.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, or related discipline; M.S. degree welcomed.
• 0–5 years of professional services consulting experience including Phase I/Phase II environmental assessments.
• Must comply with Health & Safety protocols and company charter.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Perform site reconnaissance to observe conditions and identify important site features.
• Monitor subsurface exploration activities (borings, geoprobes, test pits) for data collection.
• Conduct soil and groundwater sampling following ASTM standards and procedures.
• Collect, reduce, analyze, manage, and report field, geological, and environmental data.
• Provide on-site monitoring of contractor environmental activities during construction.
