Job summary

Haley & Aldrich is seeking a Staff Environmental Engineer or Geologist 2 for a full-time position in New York City or White Plains, NY. This role entails conducting site and subsurface characterization for environmental projects, monitoring activities during construction, and some office-related work.

The ideal candidate will have a B.S. degree and 0-7 years of experience in environmental assessments. Salary range for this position is $60,000 - $85,000 annually in NYC, and $60,000 - $80,000 in White Plains.

Qualifications

• 0-7 years of professional services consulting experience.
• Must comply with company Health & Safety protocols.
• Strong computer literacy skills, including proficiency in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform site reconnaissance to observe existing conditions.
• Monitor subsurface exploration activities to collect relevant data.
• Conduct soil and groundwater sampling in accordance with standards.
• Compile, analyze, and report data using spreadsheets.
• Prepare written reports, proposals, and client deliverables.
