Job summary

Haley & Aldrich is seeking a Staff Environmental Engineer or Geologist 2 to conduct field and office work on environmental and geotechnical projects. The role includes travel to job sites, site reconnaissance, sampling, data analysis, and reporting with potential long field assignments across multiple states.

The position requires a B.S. in Environmental Engineering or Geology, 0–5 years of relevant consulting experience, strong communication skills, and willingness to travel throughout the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/masters degree in Environmental Engineering or Geology; MS welcomed.
• 0–5 years of professional services consulting experience with Phase I/II environmental assessments and data analysis.
• Strong written and oral communication skills; ability to present technical information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Perform site reconnaissance and monitor subsurface exploration activities.
• Conduct soil and groundwater sampling following ASTM standards and procedures.
• Compile, reduce, analyze, and report field and environmental data.
• Prepare written reports, proposals, and Phase I/II ESAs.
• Adhere to Health and Safety Plans and participate in site safety briefings.
