Job summary

Stantec is seeking an Environmental Compliance Field Team Leader in Milwaukee to provide technical leadership and oversee field-based environmental monitoring on active construction projects. You will ensure high-quality inspections, accurate documentation, and clear communication of environmental requirements to project teams, clients, and contractors.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or related field.
5+ years of experience in environmental permitting or monitoring.
Experience leading field staff on construction projects.
Willingness to travel ~50% and work outdoors.

Responsibilities

Lead environmental compliance monitoring onsite, coordinating with project teams.
Conduct inspections for stormwater, wetlands, streams, and habitat compliance.
Review permit conditions and ensure field documentation aligns with requirements.
Mentor and supervise junior staff and monitor performance.
