Job summary

Roche is seeking an Associate Field Engineering Specialist in Tennessee to service and install Roche Diagnostics equipment across an assigned territory. This role emphasizes hands-on technical problem solving, customer communication, and travel to labs and sites.

You’ll work within Roche's Support Network, maintaining equipment, performing preventative maintenance, and escalating complex issues as needed, while upholding quality procedures and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and 2 years of technical school or equivalent military training or equivalent work experience.
• 2 years of experience repairing or servicing mechanical/system hardware and software, or networking/wireless networking.
• 4 year Engineering Degree in Biomedical, Mechanical, Electrical or related.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair Roche Diagnostics equipment per standard practices.
• Provide routine technical support and operator training when needed.
• Document service reports and communications in a timely and professional manner.
• Identify revenue-generating opportunities and promote service contracts where appropriate.
• Travel up to 25% to assigned territories, including support for Chattanooga, TN area.
