Job summary

Roche Holding AG is seeking a Field Engineering Specialist to travel to customer sites, perform on-site installation, repair, and preventative maintenance for Roche product lines, and build trusted relationships with laboratory customers.

This field-based role requires diagnosing mechanical, hardware, software, and system failures, documenting activities, and contributing to quality improvements while maximizing customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and 2 years of technical school or equivalent military training or work experience are required.
• 5 years of progressive experience in repairing or servicing mechanical/system hardware and software, or networking/wireless networking is necessary.
• Training or certification as defined by RD Services Leadership and policy is mandatory.
• Must be able to travel, including overnight travel.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites and perform on-site service, repair and installation of Roche products.
• Serve as a primary customer contact for technical and service-related issues.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hardware, software and system failures.
• Document activities and contribute to quality improvements; maximize customer satisfaction.
