Job summary

Roche is seeking an Associate Field Engineering Specialist to travel and demonstrate expertise as a technical repair/install specialist for Roche diagnostics equipment, servicing laboratory customers in an assigned territory.

You will install, maintain and repair equipment, provide routine technical support, document service reports, and look for revenue opportunities through service contracts. This field-based role requires up to 25% travel, mainly around South Atlanta, GA.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and 2 years of technical school or equivalent training.
• 2 years of experience repairing or servicing mechanical/system hardware and software, or networking/wireless networking.
• 4 year Engineering Degree in Biomedical, Mechanical, Electrical or related preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair Roche Diagnostics’ equipment.
• Provide routine technical support to existing customers and train operators as needed.
• Identify revenue opportunities and promote service contracts to customers.
• Document all service and account reports in a timely and professional manner.
• Travel up to 25% and reside in South Atlanta, GA area when possible.
