Job summary

Roche is seeking an Associate Field Engineering Specialist to travel within the assigned territory to install, service, and repair Roche Diagnostics equipment. You will engage with laboratory customers, ensure equipment performance, and support customers with technical guidance.

The role requires a high school diploma with technical training or equivalent experience; preferred candidates hold a 4-year engineering degree in Biomedical, Mechanical, or Electrical fields and have strong

Qualifications

High school diploma and 2 years of technical school or equivalent military training or equivalent work experience.
2 years of experience repairing or servicing mechanical/system hardware and software, or networking.
Preferred: 4-year Engineering Degree in Biomedical, Mechanical, Electrical or related.
Basic knowledge of electronics and information technology; good written/verbal communication, organization and prioritization skills.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain and repair Roche Diagnostics equipment in assigned territory.
Provide routine technical support to customers and operator training when needed.
Identify problems, escalate to higher levels when necessary, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Complete and document service reports and manage customer accounts; monitor equipment performance and control inventory.
