Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Field Engineer to deploy Silent Sentinel video surveillance hardware and software at customer sites in the US. You will stage, install, and configure systems, ensuring reliable performance and compatibility across varied environments.

The role requires 3+ years in field service, the ability to travel 50–75%, and the clearance required for government contracts. A high school diploma or higher with relevant degree or experience is accepted.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, Bachelor's Degree OR 3+ years of experience in Engineering, Computer Science, Networking, IT, Cybersecurity, or Information Systems.
• Ability to obtain background clearance for government customers.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Travel 50–75% to customer sites and project locations.

Responsibilities

• Deploy Silent Sentinel video surveillance hardware and software at customer sites to ensure reliable operation.
• Assist partners and customers with staging, installation, and field deployment of surveillance solutions.
• Design, document, and articulate surveillance architectures aligned with project and regulatory requirements.
• Evaluate system specs, network capacity, and project scope to ensure design integrity.
• Configure software, test, and optimize initial configuration for diverse environments.
• Conduct product testing, demonstrations, and technical discussions to convey value propositions.
• Provide onsite technical support to integrators and project stakeholders.
• Collaborate with customer support to produce reports and resolve issues.
