Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a System Engineer for the Silent Sentinel group in the North America Fixed Video Team. You will design and deploy rugged, multi‑sensor video surveillance systems, and coordinate with project teams to meet customer requirements.

This role requires 3+ years in field service, strong system architecture skills, and travel up to 75% to customer sites. You must pass background checks for government customers and comply with CJIS Security Policy.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Field Service environments.
• Experience designing, evaluating and implementing complex video surveillance architectures.
• Ability to travel 50–75% to customer sites and partner offices.
• Must pass background checks and CJIS security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Drive technical vision for Silent Sentinel deployments and end‑to‑end surveillance solutions.
• Design, evaluate, and deploy video surveillance networks aligned with SOW and customer specs.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor to internal and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate testing, demonstrations and change-control procedures.
• Collaborate with PMs, subcontractors, and Motorola Technical Support to hit milestones.
