Job summary

Motorola Solutions' Silent Sentinel group in North America focuses on rugged, multi-sensor camera systems for defense and critical infrastructure. The System Engineer will design and implement end-to-end surveillance solutions, ensuring compatibility with customer networks, regulatory requirements, and project scopes.

The role requires 3+ years of field service experience, ability to travel 50%–75%, and rigorous adherence to CJIS and company policies.

Qualifications

• Must have 3+ years of experience in a Field Service environment.
• Must have experience designing, evaluating, and implementing complex system architectures and video surveillance networks.
• Ability to travel to customer locations, subcontractor offices, and project sites for walks, surveying, design, integration, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Drive the technical vision for Silent Sentinel deployments, architecting end-to-end solutions that integrate surveillance systems with customer networks.
• Design, evaluate, and deploy mission-critical video surveillance and network systems per customer requirements.
• Develop, document, and articulate video surveillance system architectures compatible with SOWs and customer specs.
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor to internal and external stakeholders.
