Job summary

Motorola Solutions in Charlotte, NC seeks a Field Engineer to deploy Silent Sentinel video surveillance hardware and software at customer sites. You will stage, install, configure, and test systems, ensuring reliability and regulatory compliance.

You will travel 50-75% to customer locations and partner sites, collaborate with support teams, and provide onsite technical assistance to ensure successful deployments of mission-critical solutions.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or Bachelor's Degree OR 3+ years in Engineering, CS, Networking, IT, Cybersecurity, or Information Systems.
• Ability to obtain a background clearance.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Manage deployment of Silent Sentinel video surveillance hardware and software at customer locations.
• Assist partners and customers with staging, installation, and field deployment.
• Develop, design, document, and articulate video surveillance solutions and architecture.
• Evaluate system specifications, network capacity, and project scope to ensure design integrity.
• Handle software configuration, testing, and initial configuration optimization.
• Conduct product testing, demonstrations, and technical discussions with stakeholders.
• Provide onsite technical support and assistance to integrators and project stakeholders.
• Collaborate with support teams to resolve customer inquiries and issues.
