Job summary
Carrier has an opening for a Field Engineer Supervisor to guide the Construction Field Team and oversee project delivery from installation to commissioning. You will manage scheduling, training, recruitment, and safety, with 50–60% time in the field supporting project deliverables and direct reporting lines.
Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in HVAC or building automation, a valid license, and a Bachelor’s in engineering or related field.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 3+ years in HVAC, construction or building automation.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Able to climb ladders and lift up to 50 lbs.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Construction Field Team with scheduling and resource allocation.
- Drive training and development, including product training.
- Monitor performance and conduct reviews to drive accountability.
- Oversee recruitment, interviewing and onboarding of new field engineers.
- Ensure quality control and safe construction of control panels.
- Assist in project bid reviews to ensure field labor costs are covered.
