Job summary

Carrier HVAC is seeking a Field Service Engineer to help advance our Aftermarket Services for complicated systems. The ideal candidate will have a technical background in HVAC or Building Automation and be customer-focused, providing solutions to complex system problems.

Responsibilities include performing system maintenance, communicating enhancements, and training customers. A High School Diploma or GED and 2+ years of relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in Building Automation, HVAC, or technical field.
Capable of climbing ladders or using other lift equipment over 8 feet above grade.
Valid Driver’s License and insurable by company’s insurance.

Responsibilities

Provide solutions to complex system problems and lead others.
Perform maintenance on field controllers, servers, and field hardware.
Communicate issues and recommend system enhancements.
Train owners/operators on upgrades/service.
