Job summary

Carrier is seeking a Field Engineer to join our team in the United States. You will be responsible for field commissioning of building automation systems tailored to each customer, solving complex problems, and mentoring junior engineers in a fast-paced environment.

You will install, configure, and troubleshoot DD-C controlled systems, interact with customers, and deliver projects on time while upholding safety standards and quality expectations. A strong HVAC/controls background is essential.

Qualifications

• Requires 2+ years in Building Automation, HVAC, or technical field.
• Must be able to climb ladders or lifts and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license and insurability by company.

Responsibilities

• Initiate, install, and troubleshoot customer systems using Direct Digital Control technology.
• Serve as local field contact for technical issues.
• Provide turnkey project delivery on small to medium projects.
• Ensure systems operate properly including controls, sensors, and software.
• Load software, configure trends, alarms, and reports.
• Provide site-specific training to owners/operators.
