Carrier, a global leader in intelligent climate and energy solutions, seeks a Field Engineer to install, commission, and optimize advanced DDC systems across client sites. You will troubleshoot, lead technical activities, and travel as needed to own projects from start to finish.

You will be accountable for system performance, work with project managers, and mentor site technicians while maintaining thorough documentation and ensuring safety standards.

Formación

• 2+ years of professional experience in HVAC, Building Automation, Information Technology, or Industrial Networking.
• Direct experience with IP networking, Modbus protocols, BACnet protocols, or PLC programming.
• Must possess a valid, current Driver’s License and be insurable by the company’s insurance carrier.
• Ability to lift items up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as squatting and climbing for extended periods.
• Capable of working over 8 feet above grade and proficient in the use of ladders and motorized lift equipment.

Responsabilidades

• System Performance: Install, commission, and optimize advanced DDC systems, ensuring controls, sensors, and networks meet performance standards.
• Proactive Problem Solving: Use technical judgment to solve automation challenges and mitigate project risks before they impact timelines.
• Technical Leadership: Train owners on system operation and partner with Project Managers to manage risks and improve execution.
• Travel & Growth: Travel as needed and adapt to changing schedules while taking end-to-end ownership of complex projects.
• Project Integrity: Maintain accurate documentation and participate in project reviews to drive continuous improvement.
