Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Field Engineer to implement and support complex communication-system infrastructure. You will work with Engineering, PM and Sales to design, install, test, and document networks, servers and RF equipment across locations.

Responsibilities include onsite configuration, troubleshooting, and producing as-built documentation; weekly activity reporting; system performance verification and test results; and collaboration with customers to meet expectations and safety

Qualifications

• Experience designing, implementing and testing complex RF and broadband systems.
• Ability to perform onsite installation of network, server and RF equipment and provide as-built documentation.
• Knowledge of FCC license data and telecom data protocols is preferred.
• Strong report writing and ability to produce system test results.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering, project management and sales to design and implement systems.
• Provide weekly activity reports and maintain system documentation.
• Configure networks, servers, RF and databases onsite and remotely.
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot faults; verify system logs.
• Lead acceptance testing and finalize test results for documentation.
• Coordinate with customers to ensure system performance and satisfaction.
