Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a self-motivated Field Engineer to design, implement, and support advanced communication systems. The role requires extensive travel (>75%) and a strong blend of RF communications and computer/networking expertise.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, test, optimize, cutover and document communication systems.
• Perform remote and onsite configuration of network, server, RF, and database components.
• Oversee onsite installation of network, server and RF equipment and provide as-built documentation.
• Troubleshoot networks, servers, databases, and RF infrastructure; perform preventative maintenance.
• Execute test plans for acceptance and optimize RF infrastructure based on FCC data.
• Provide weekly activity reports and develop solutions for complex technical issues.
