Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a self-motivated Field Engineer to design, implement, and support advanced communication systems. The role requires extensive travel (>75%) and combines RF knowledge with computer and networking skills to support mission-critical infrastructure.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Project Management, and Sales to meet customer specs, configure networks, servers, and RF equipment, and generate as-configured documentation and final system packages.

Qualifications

• Experience with RF and networking infrastructure in mission-critical systems.
• Ability to implement, test, and document complex communication systems.
• Strong communication skills for customer and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support advanced communication systems.
• Perform remote and onsite configuration of network, server, RF components.
• Troubleshoot networks, servers, and RF infrastructure; document outcomes.
• Provide weekly activity reports and ensure system performance.
