Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a skilled Field Engineer/Technical Specialist to provide technical support for advanced communications systems. You will troubleshoot software-driven electronics, optimize RF/broadband architectures, and maintain complex networks.

The role requires strong routing and switching knowledge, prior experience with Motorola systems, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams to meet customer expectations. Local travel within the Arkansas region is expected.

Qualifications

• Must have 3+ years of experience in LMR, RF Systems, Radio Communications, IT Systems, Networking equipment, or ASTRO/SmartZone environments.
• Experience maintaining and troubleshooting complex wired/wireless communications systems.
• Strong ability to analyze trends, document results, and communicate effectively with customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for specialized systems and applications including advanced troubleshooting of software-driven electronics and RF/broadband infrastructure.
• Maintain, optimize, test, document and support complex communications systems.
• Develop solutions to difficult technical problems during maintenance, upgrades or support.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Project Management, Sales, and Customer Service to sustain optimal systems and meet customer expectations.
• Provide weekly activity and accomplishment reports.
