Job summary

You will support the superintendent, learn layout, QA/QC documentation, material tracking, and safety procedures, while developing professional communication and technical skills for a future career in field operations.

Qualifications

• Sophomore, junior or senior majoring in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or related field.
• Energized by fast-paced environments and challenges.
• Team player who can lead when needed.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Tech-savvy and quick to learn new tools and systems.
• Innovative mindset with problem-solving approach.

Responsibilities

• Assist on-site Superintendent and Foreman with a variety of tasks.
• Track and verify quantities on projects.
• Help track materials inventory and where items are located.
• Learn building layout and site surveys on select projects.
• Organize, store, and maintain project tools.
• Support pre-install meetings, inspections, and document QC issues.
• Coordinate deliveries for materials and equipment.
• Assist with RFIs and information documentation.
• Work with subcontractors to manage tasks and schedules.
• Join weekly coordination meetings and assist project planning.
• Maintain as-builts and CPM-related documents (Procore, CmiC, SharePoint).
• Participate in safety audits and daily safety practices.
