McGough offers an Internship/Co-op Field Engineer program that delivers hands-on construction experience on real projects. You’ll work closely with on-site leadership and gain exposure to multiple roles across the organization, setting a strong foundation for a future career in field operations.

You’ll assist with on-site tasks, layout, material tracking, deliveries, safety, and documentation while developing communication and problem-solving skills that prepare you for leadership challenges

Qualifications

• Sophomore, junior, or senior majoring in Construction Management or related field.
• Interest in fast-paced construction environments and hands-on learning.
• Willingness to learn and take initiative on-site tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist on-site Superintendent and Foreman with tasks.
• Learn layout and site surveys; support material deliveries.
• Track quantities and verify on-site measurements.
• Assist with safety audits, daily logs, and QC observations.
• Support RFI writing and coordination with subcontractors.
