Job summary

Acuative, the nation's leading independent provider of telecommunications field services, seeks a Field Service Technician in New Jersey to install and maintain voice and data networks, servers, and retail technology systems across various sites.

Paid training provided; company vehicle and gas card included; overtime opportunities and call-out pay after hours. The role requires travel to customer sites and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Information Technology or equivalent.
• Knowledge of networking hardware and topologies.
• Familiarity with Cisco networking products and CLI.
• Understanding of VOIP/telephony systems and hands-on support.
• Able to install/repair desktop PC or server hardware.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain networking hardware including routers and switches.
• Install and maintain telephony equipment and circuits.
• Install and support retail technology systems (POS, digital signage, video).
• Perform circuit extensions and structured cabling.
• Conduct site surveys and site audits.
• Install LEO satellite receivers and fixed wireless hardware.
• Submit all job documents accurately and on time.
• Maintain company vehicle and tools to standards.
