Job summary

QuidelOrtho seeks a Field Engineer I in Indianapolis, IN to install, operate, maintain, repair, and modify electromechanical equipment in customer sites. This field-based role offers a company car, gas card, cell phone and laptop with vehicle maintenance covered.

The position covers customers throughout Indianapolis, IN. Required are an Associate degree in Electronics or Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent 4 years of field service experience, plus at least 4 years in related work.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 4 years field service experience required.
• 4+ years experience installing, operating, maintaining, repairing, and modifying electromechanical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install, operate, maintain, repair and modify electromechanical equipment in field settings.
• Determine technical solutions per product and customer specifications.
• Provide on-site training and act as local representative for customers.
• Manage territory responsibilities including Preventive Maintenance & upgrades. Travel 50–75% initial training; up to 75% thereafter.
