Qualifications

• Must have at least a High School diploma or GED equivalency; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Will have at least 3-4 year's commercial low-voltage/structured cablingexperience.
• Must be able to work well with other people.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and MS Project).
• Must meet Company minimum driving standards.
• Must be able to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.
• Must have demonstrated verifiable ability to define a project, create a project scope of work, develop detailed associated tasks and manage these to final completion and customer turnover.

Responsibilities

• Install and operate most types of low-voltage/structured cabling systems and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment problems; test and verify connections, labels, and installation quality.
• Understand and interpret advanced system drawings; create shop drawings and submittals for new projects.
• Lead field activities with minimal supervision; work in house and in the field as required.
• Own project installation and provide support to field staff and project manager.
• Assist with punch-list development and project close-out activities.
• Oversee technical aspects of projects and perform quality checks on equipment and functionality.
• Assist sales staff with product and system demonstrations.
