Job summary

HNTB seeks interns for inspection and documentation of construction work across multiple sites. You will monitor compliance with plans, specifications, and regulations, assist in design calculations, and support engineers with reports and data collection.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering; visa sponsorship is not available. You may gain exposure to GPS/Rovers and other industry tools while contributing to real projects in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Assists with construction field work to ensure conformance to plans and specifications.
• Observes on-site material testing and coordinates testing and monitoring services.
• Reads and interprets construction drawings and considers discrepancies or conflicts.
• Reviews contractor’s daily reports for accuracy and consistency; documents progress.
• Consults with Resident Engineer on progress and issues; assists in solutions.
• Maintains knowledge of industry tools and uses GPS/Rovers to improve inspection accuracy.
• Performs office engineer tasks such as preparing meeting agendas and tracking logs.
