HNTB is seeking an internship-ready candidate to assist in construction inspection and documentation. You will support field tasks, observe material testing, and help track progress against plans and specifications while coordinating with engineers on site.

This internship emphasizes learning to read drawings, interpret CPM-related activities, and communicate effectively with the Resident Engineer to resolve issues and ensure quality control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
• Experience or familiarity with construction inspections is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assists with construction field work tasks to ensure conformance to plans and specs.
• Observes on-site material testing and coordinates testing services; computes basic pay item quantities.
• Reviews contractor's daily reports and progress using video/photo documentation.
