Job summary

HNTB is seeking a position tailored for current or former interns to perform daily field inspection and monitoring of routine construction activities. You will document work, verify materials, and review discrepancies with the Field Engineer on smaller, standard projects.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED plus at least 3 years of construction experience, with jurisdictional certificates as required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent and 3 years of construction related experience.
• All required jurisdictional certificates and state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Observes, documents, and verifies work in progress by the construction contractor to ensure compliance with contract documents and plans.
• Utilizes engineering inspection practices to perform standard mathematical calculations and measurements of completed work to date.
• Maintains Inspector's daily report of assigned work activities, contractor labor and equipment, quantity of material received and verified.
• Performs on-site material testing and produces as-constructed sketches as required.
