HNTB Corporation is seeking an Engineering Inspector to provide field inspection and documentation of construction work on infrastructure projects. You will monitor conformance with plans, specs, and contract provisions, and assist in compiling design calculations and reports.

The role involves reading drawings, reviewing daily reports, coordinating with Resident Engineer, and utilizing inspection tools to enhance accuracy. Bachelor's degree required.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Experience with inspection documentation and reporting.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with field inspection tasks to ensure conformance with plans, specifications, and other contract documents.
• Observe on-site material testing and coordinate testing and monitoring services; review daily reports.
• Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications; identify discrepancies.
• Review contractor’s daily reports for accuracy and consistency; document progress with photos and videos.
• Consult with Resident Engineer on work progress; assist in resolving issues and act as liaison with the engineer of record.
• Maintain awareness of industry tools like GPS/Rovers to improve inspection accuracy.
• Prepare meeting agendas and minutes; assist in processing RFIs, submittals, and pay estimates.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
