Job summary

HNTB Corporation seeks an engineering inspection professional to support field construction activities across multiple projects in Florida. You will monitor conformance to plans and specs, perform basic shop drawing reviews, and coordinate testing services with field teams.

This role requires strong documentation and reporting to protect client interests. Responsibilities include coordinating inspections, updating progress reports with photos and videos, and liaising with the Resident Engineer

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
• Familiarity with inspection checklists and quality controls is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Assist with construction field work to ensure conformance with plans and specs.
• Coordinate and schedule quality control inspections.
• Observe on-site material testing and coordinate testing services.
• Perform basic shop drawing review and ensure compliance with documents.
• Read and interpret drawings and specs and identify discrepancies.
• Prepare reports on construction progress with photos/video.
• Consult with Resident Engineer and support issue resolution.
