Job summary

CaptiveAire Systems, Inc. is seeking a Field Engineer to support our sales team with construction management and after-sales field support.

The role involves frequent travel to job sites within a defined territory, while being based at the Dallas sales office, with both field and office work. The position offers extensive formal training under a mentor, exposure to CaptiveAire products, troubleshooting, and engineering processes.

Qualifications

• 4 year technical degree in mechanical, electrical, construction or science-oriented curriculum preferred.
• Hands-on internship/co-op experience preferred.
• HVAC and/or electrical experience strongly preferred.
• Must be able to travel for training.

Responsibilities

• Field work on job sites and data analysis with remote troubleshooting.
• Support installations and equipment start-ups to ensure high-quality outcomes.
• Handle complex troubleshooting issues and coordinate with teams.
• Provide reports to Regional Manager and other teams on customer feedback and product improvements.
• On-site construction trade coordination meetings and start-ups to ensure good outcomes.
