Job summary

CaptiveAire is seeking a Field Engineer to support our sales team with construction management and after‑sales field support. The role requires frequent travel to job sites and will be based at the Tampa sales office, mixing field work with office duties and on‑the‑job mentorship.

You will gain experience across CaptiveAire products, troubleshooting, and application engineering processes through formalized training and hands‑on tasks.

Qualifications

• 0-5 yrs experience required or preferred.
• Hands-on internship/co-op experience is favorable.
• Must enjoy hands-on product exposure.
• FE Exam completion expected within 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• In-field and data analysis work alongside project teams.
• Troubleshoot issues with installed equipment in the field.
• Coordinate with engineering, service and sales teams to achieve best outcomes.
• Attend construction coordination meetings and startups on site.
• Provide reports on customer feedback, quality and product improvements.
