Job summary

JE Dunn Construction, Advanced Facilities Group, is seeking a Field Engineer to join our core trade family on large Industrial & Manufacturing, Data Center, and Semiconductor projects in Springfield, MO. You will perform self-perform work, learn building techniques, and collaborate with foremen, journeymen, superintendents, and subcontractors while adhering to safety standards.

You’ll leverage Lean practices daily, develop layout knowledge, and participate in weekly planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or related field preferred.
• Participation in a federally required training or apprenticeship program, depending upon location.
• In lieu of the above requirements, equivalent relevant experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Actively participates in all aspects of the project-specific safety plan and culture.
• Works with tools and executes self-perform work while embedded as part of a crew of craftsmen.
• Builds relationships with trades people and project team members.
• Develops understanding of Lean practices and applies them daily.
• Participates in weekly work plans and site meetings.
