Job summary

JE Dunn Construction’s Advanced Facilities Group seeks a FIELD ENGINEER – CORE to participate in safety programs and perform self-perform tasks as part of a crafts crew on large Industrial & Manufacturing, Data Center and Semiconductor projects.

The role emphasizes learning company standards, collaboration with foremen and subcontractors, and applying Lean practices while supporting project teams across the country.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field (Preferred).
• Participation in a federally required training or apprenticeship program, depending upon location (Preferred).
• In lieu of the above requirements, equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
• 0-2 years construction experience (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Actively participates in all aspects of the project-specific safety plan and culture.
• Works with tools and executes self-perform work while embedded as part of a crew of craftsmen to complete specific assigned tasks on a project.
• Builds relationships and develops communication and interpersonal skills with trades people and project team members such as foreman, journeymen, superintendents, subcontractors, etc.
• Learns and incorporates Lean practices into daily activities.
• Participates in various meetings such as weekly work plans, as warranted by business needs and site practices.
