Job summary

Salesforce is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer for Data 360 (Data Cloud) focused on real-time data integration in enterprise environments. You will configure, build, test, and deploy data solutions across ingestion, harmonization, identity, and insights, directly inside customer sandboxes and production environments.

The role emphasizes hands-on data engineering, securing data, and working with agents and MCP protocols to enable scalable deployments at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• Hands-on experience implementing Salesforce Data 360 (Data Cloud).
• Built data pipelines and integrations across ingestion, modeling, and identity.
• Proficient in SQL and multi-language programming (Apex/Java/Python/JS).
• Certifications in Salesforce Agentforce, Data 360, or Salesforce Platform are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build in customer environments using Data 360 configuration and APIs.
• Engineer the data layer across ingestion, harmonization, and identity resolution.
• Prove results with representative test data and validate outcomes.
• Ground AI agents with Retrieval-Augmented Generation and vector databases.
• Design and implement MCP and agent-to-agent communication protocols.
• Connect Salesforce to enterprise apps with scalable, secure patterns.
• Govern data integration, transformation, and governance across CRM and Data Cloud.
