Job summary

Salesforce is hiring Forward Deployed Engineers for Data 360 to implement real-time data solutions inside customer environments. You will configure, build, test, and deploy Data 360 across ingestion, harmonization, identity, insights, activation, retrieval, and security.

You’ll work with architects, deployment strategists, and customer teams to deliver production rollouts, ensuring robust testing and secure handoffs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering, data engineering, or technical implementation with production data solutions.
• Hands-on experience implementing Salesforce Data 360 (Data Cloud) or comparable enterprise data platform.
• Proficient in SQL and multi-table query building.

Responsibilities

• Build in customer environments and develop in sandbox and production using Data 360 configuration, SQL, Apex, Flow, Python, and related tools.
• Engineer the data layer across ingestion, harmonization, and identity resolution for various workloads.
• Prove it works by creating test data and validating outcomes across paths and edge cases.
• Ground the agents with RAG, vector databases, search indexes, and knowledge bases.
