Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer for Data 360 (Data Cloud) to implement real-time data solutions in enterprise environments. You will configure, build, test, and deploy data-driven solutions directly inside customer environments using SQL, Apex, Flow, and the Interaction SDK.

You will collaborate with architects and customer teams to ensure scalable, secure data integrations, and you will develop data pipelines, validate outcomes, and ground agents with a robust data foundation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software/data engineering or technical implementation with a production data solution explained in detail.
• Bachelor's degree in CS or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience implementing Salesforce Data 360 (Data Cloud) or comparable enterprise data platform.
• Experience building data pipelines and integrations with enterprise data tech (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, Kafka).
• Proficient in SQL with multi-table queries and data validation checks.
• Fluent in Apex, Java, Python, or JS/TS; willingness to learn others.

Responsibilities

• Build in enterprise environments: configure, develop, test in sandboxes and production.
• Engineer data layer: ingestion, harmonization, identity resolution, latency tuning.
• Ground AI data integration layer: RAG, vector databases, search indexes.
• Orchestrate agent communication: MCP protocols and agent-to-agent patterns.
• Connect ecosystems: robust, scalable data integration across apps and services.
• Ensure secure data access and governance across Salesforce and external systems.
