Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer for Data 360, focusing on real-time data integration and agent-based AI grounding within enterprise environments. Qualifications

• Experience delivering production data solutions in enterprise environments.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce Data 360 or similar platforms.
• Proficient in SQL and at least one enterprise language (Apex, Java, Python, JS/TS).

Responsibilities

• Build in customer environments using Data 360 APIs, SQL, Apex, and other tools.
• Engineer the data layer across ingestion, identity, and activation.
• Prove implementations with representative test data and edge cases.
• Ground the AI data integration layer with RAG, vector stores, and knowledge bases.
• Design and implement MCP and agent-to-agent communication protocols.
• Connect Agentforce to enterprise apps with secure data integration patterns.
• Govern data security, transformation, and governance across the Salesforce ecosystem.
• Build scalable, secure workflows with OAuth/SAML authentication.
• Troubleshoot ingestion, mappings, schema drift, and API errors with logs.
• Document tradeoffs and hand off to architects for maintainability.
• Leverage AI tooling to accelerate build and value delivery.
• Co‑build with customers and partners and hand off with runbooks.
