Job summary

Salesforce is seeking Forward Deployed Engineers to implement Data 360 (Data Cloud) in real customer environments. You will configure, build, test, and deploy Data 360, handling ingestion, identity, and insights, while focusing on secure, scalable data integration for AI-enabled agents.

You should bring 5+ years in software/data engineering, a CS degree, and hands-on experience with Data 360 and related data platforms.

Qualifications

5+ years of software/data engineering or technical implementation experience.
Hands-on experience implementing Salesforce Data 360 (Data Cloud) in production environments.
Experience building data pipelines and integrations with enterprise data platforms.

Responsibilities

Build in customer environments using Data 360 configuration, SQL, Apex, Flow, Python, REST APIs, and deployment tooling.
Engineer the data layer across ingestion, harmonization, identity, and insights to support enterprise workloads.
Ground AI data integration with RAG, vector databases, search indexes, and knowledge bases.
Design and implement MCP-based agent communication and secure data access patterns.
Collaborate with architects, deployment strategists, and customer teams to deliver production-ready implementations.
