Job summary

GBA Builders is seeking a Field Engineer to support our Field Operations team. You will coordinate daily construction activities, promote jobsite safety, maintain project documentation, and assist with project execution across the United States.

You will work with the Superintendent and project team, travel to sites, and gain hands-on field experience while developing construction management and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or engineering or related field.
• OSHA 30-hour certification.
• First Aid/CPR certification preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational, time-management and detail orientation.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Adaptability to changing jobsite conditions and team dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily construction activities and promote safety.
• Support supervision and coordination of subcontractors and vendors.
• Order materials and schedule deliveries to align with project schedules.
• Prepare detailed work plans and work packages.
• Assist with QA, equipment scheduling and interpreting drawings/specifications.
• Verify quantities and support field surveying and layout.
• Process labor timesheets and maintain project records.
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders; attend project meetings.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field
