Job summary

GBA Builders in Virginia is seeking a Field Engineer to support our field operations across the United States. You will coordinate daily construction activities, assist with safety programs, and help maintain project documentation with the superintendent and project team.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in construction management or engineering, 1–4 years experience, OSHA 30, and strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
• 1–4 years of relevant field experience or equivalent.
• OSHA 30-hour certification required, First Aid/CPR preferred.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily construction activities with the superintendent and project team.
• Promote jobsite safety and assist with safety programs and trainings.
• Assist with subcontractor coordination, material orders, and deliveries.
• Prepare work plans, maintain project documentation, and report progress.
• Interpret drawings/specifications and support field surveying/layout.
• Travel to project sites and operate company vehicle as needed.
