Job summary

GBA Builders is seeking a Field Engineer to support field operations on projects across the United States. You will coordinate daily activities, promote safety, maintain docs, and assist with layout, surveys, and subcontractor coordination.

Requirements include a bachelor's in construction management or engineering and OSHA 30, with 1–4 years of relevant experience. Excellent MS Office skills and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field; 1–4 years of relevant experience.
• OSHA 30-hour certification is required.
• First Aid/CPR certification preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational, time-management, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing jobsite conditions and team dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Promote a strong commitment to GBA's Health and Safety Program.
• Assist with JHAs, safety reviews, and training initiatives.
• Support supervision and coordination of subcontractors and vendors.
• Order materials and schedule deliveries to align with project schedules.
• Prepare detailed work plans and work packages.
• Assist with quality assurance, equipment scheduling, and interpretation of drawings.
• Verify quantity calculations and support surveying and layout activities.
• Process labor timesheets and maintain project records.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external project stakeholders.
• Attend project meetings and support additional project needs as assigned.
• Travel to and from job sites as needed to support field operations.
• Operate a motor vehicle for company needs.
