Job summary

GBA Builders in Lenexa, KS is seeking a Field Engineer to support field operations, coordinate daily activities, and promote safety on projects across the United States.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in construction management or engineering, OSHA 30, and strong organizational and communication skills; willingness to travel full-time and work with the field team is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
• OSHA 30-hour certification.
• First Aid/CPR certification preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational, time-management, and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel full-time.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily construction activities with the Superintendent and project team.
• Promote jobsite safety and assist with JHAs, safety reviews, and training.
• Support supervision and coordination of subcontractors and vendors.
• Order materials and schedule deliveries to align with project schedules.
• Prepare detailed work plans and work packages.
• Assist with quality assurance, surveying, and interpretation of drawings.
• Process labor timesheets and maintain project records.
• Communicate with internal and external project stakeholders.
• Attend project meetings and support additional project needs.
• Travel to and from job sites; operate company vehicle as needed.
