Job summary

GBA Builders seeks a Field Engineer to support field operations nationwide. You will coordinate daily construction activities, promote safety, maintain project docs, and assist with QA, surveying, and layouts while traveling to job sites across the United States.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 1–4 years of experience, OSHA 30, and proficiency with MS Office. This role offers growth in construction management and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field plus 1–4 years of experience or equivalent.
• OSHA 30-hour certification and First Aid/CPR preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office and strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Promote GBA’s Health and Safety Program on site.
• Assist with job hazard analyses, safety reviews, and training.
• Coordinate subcontractors and vendors and schedule deliveries.
• Prepare detailed work plans and work packages.
• Assist with QA, equipment scheduling, and interpretation of drawings.
• Verify quantities and support field surveying and layout.
• Compile labor timesheets and maintain project records.
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Attend project meetings and support leadership as needed.
• Travel to project sites across the United States; drive as required.
• Operate a company vehicle as an essential function.
